Equipment for Measure and Control
1. An instrument for measuring the quantity of
air entrained in fresh concrete.
2. An instrument for measuring the concentration
of a liquid or the density of a solution and
functioning according to the principle of floating
bodies. There are three kinds:
constant-bulk air entrainment meter
(l’aéromètre à volume constant);
constant-weight air entrainment meter
(l’aéromètre à poids constant);
Baumé air entrainment meter (l’aéromètre
Baumé).
